Neighbors for Community Carshare

Twin Cities carshare is on the line

Keep carshare in our neighborhoods.

Thousands of us get to work, the grocery store, and the doctor in a HOURCAR or an Evie. If it goes away, we feel it first.

HOURCAR has announced its last day of service is Thursday, October 15. City and county leaders can still step in with emergency bridge funding, and they need to hear from us, in our own words, this week.

  1. Call. Two minutes. Say your name, your neighborhood, and "please help keep carshare in the Twin Cities." Calls get tallied.
  2. Write. Five minutes. Tell your story so it's on the record.
  3. Show up. A crowd is hard to ignore.

1. Find your officials

What happens to my address?

We don't save or see it. Your typed address goes to the U.S. Census Bureau's public geocoder to get map coordinates. Matching those to your ward and county district happens on your own device. If you use your location instead, nothing leaves your device.

2. Your officials

Look up your address above and your officials will show up here.

3. Write your message

You send it yourself, from your own email or the official's contact form.

4. Stay in touch

Leave your name and email and we'll let you know what's next and how to help.

Only the organizers of this page see it. We'll use it to contact you about keeping carshare in the Twin Cities, and we won't share or sell it.
